Traveling Recreational League
Recreational soccer is a great avenue for players to enjoy participating in soccer. Teams are organized by grade in school, and will compete against players and teams from other local communities. For a lot of players this is an introduction to the game, and the expectation is for players and parents to enjoy the soccer experience. There is an 8 week season in both the fall and spring at this level. Currently we have 3 co-ed recreational teams – one for 3rd & 4th grade, one for 5th & 6th grade, and a third team that is made up of our middle school players. We are able to move players between teams as necessary based on their skill level and experience, but we have set up these broad groups to encompass all players. These teams will generally practice one night per week and play a game on Saturday.
Kinder Kickers
This is a 6 week program offered in the spring and fall for players in kindergarten to 2nd grade. This level will focus on developing basic soccer skills, but will still have the emphasis on play. These players will play on Saturday mornings at Valley View Park. We are going to try to schedule a couple scrimmage games with surrounding soccer clubs, but travel will be limited to local communities.
Micro Soccer
This level is for the youngest players under age 5. It is a 4 week program to introduce the children to the game of soccer with an emphasis on play. We offer this level in the spring and fall.
